Brow Lift

Drooping or asymmetric brows can make you look tired, sad or even angry. Non-surgical brow lifting — with Botox and thread techniques — is one of the most powerful tools to refresh facial expression quickly. With precise anatomic planning, natural and balanced results are achievable.

Why Do Brows Drop?

Brow position is the equilibrium point of several muscle groups. The frontalis lifts the brow; the upper orbicularis oculi and procerus depress it. With age, frontalis tone declines and the depressors gain relative dominance — the brow gradually descends. Brow descent can also pile excess skin onto the upper eyelid and even narrow the visual field.

Genetics, sun damage and collagen loss accelerate brow descent. The ideal brow position varies by gender: women typically benefit from a brow positioned above the supraorbital ridge with a soft arch; men look more masculine with a flatter brow at the level of the rim.

Brow Lift with Botox

A small dose of Botox in the outer-upper orbicularis oculi reduces its depressor pull, allowing the frontalis to elevate the brow 1–3 mm. This seemingly small change creates a noticeably more open, restful gaze. Treating frown lines in the same session improves both brow position and expression in one go.

Botox brow lift is ideal for mild-to-moderate brow descent. Effect settles in 2 weeks and lasts 4–6 months. Subsequent sessions can be calibrated more precisely using dose-response data from earlier visits.

Thread-Lift Brow Elevation

For more pronounced descent or for patients who decline surgery, PDO or cog threads provide mechanical lifting. Threads placed via cannula support tissue upward immediately and stimulate collagen for medium- to long-term firming. Effect: 12–18 months.

Combination Approach

If temple volume is preserved, Botox alone may be enough. If temple hollowing exists, restoring temple volume with filler adds an indirect brow-lifting effect. This combination — a "liquid brow lift" — produces the most natural, balanced result.

Let's choose the brow lift technique that suits you.
